Know our history
Renovated to its actual structure in 1929 and originally known as The American Hotel, the classic architecture of our Parador will transport you to the early days of American rule in our island. Inaugurated in the early XX century to serve the newly established Guánica Sugar Processing Plant as on the first lodgings in the island under the new rule. Guánica 1929, Parador of Puerto Rico, has been witness to the rich history of our region. Did you know?… President Roosevelt stayed in our facilities in 1906.
Touristic Alliance
As a member of the Paradors Association of Puerto Rico and backed-up by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company and Discover Puerto Rico (DMO); we support the island initiatives and work in conjunction with them to maintain ourselves at the latest trends in the tourism industry, creating an unique touristic alliance in the Caribbean.
